The two game developers, Sam and Sadie, could have been musicians working on an album, or visual artists painting the next Guernica (when Guernica was referenced, it did some actual heavy imagery lifting, which did not happen when alluding to Zelda or Mario games), or, heck, even a duo of authors writing a novel together.
